My Movie Review – IFFK 2024 12.4

The My Movie Review application provides a comprehensive platform for exploring the latest films in Kerala, encompassing a diverse range of languages including Malayalam, Tamil, Hindi, and English. Users can access ratings, reviews, trailers, posters, and additional details about current films.

This application allows users to rate and review their favorite movies at any time and from anywhere, facilitating an efficient movie rating experience on the go. It also enables users to identify top-rated films based on community feedback.

Users can easily access information about the movies currently playing in their location and share their own ratings and reviews. The interface is designed for straightforward navigation, making the reviewing process both fast and user-friendly.

The application features a variety of functionalities:

• Information on now running, upcoming, and previous movies in various languages (Malayalam, Tamil, Hindi, English)
• Access to user and critic reviews
• Filtering options by language
• Sorting options by release dates, rating, and number of ratings
• Releasing dates for upcoming films
• The latest trailers, videos, songs, teasers, and more
• Up-to-date posters and stills
• Notifications for new content
• Information related to IFFK from 2016 to 2021

Additionally, users receive notifications regarding the latest trailers, movie showtimes, and breaking news in the film industry. The application's design allows users to make informed decisions about what to watch and where to see it by providing easy access to trailers and clips.

User privacy is a priority at My Movie Review. Upon logging in, only essential personal information—such as mobile number, email address, name, and profile image—is requested. This information is utilized solely for displaying with user reviews. After completing 50 reviews, users can achieve verified status within the app.

Currently, movie ratings are available exclusively for Kerala; however, plans are in place to extend this feature to other states in the future. The app also includes updates from popular OTT platforms such as BookMyShow, Netflix, Amazon Prime, Zee5, Aha, SunNXT, Nee Stream, IMDB, TicketNew, PVR Cinemas, Carnival Cinemas, Moviebuff, among others.
